New River baptist church

Welcome to New River Baptist Church, a local church in Islington that believes Jesus brings life. Our Sunday 11 am service provides an opportunity for all ages to worship Jesus, to make new friends and to live for him in our world. 

We support one another on each stage of the journey of faith. We help you to identify relationships + resources for the next step on your journey of faith.

We share what we have received from Jesus. We provide opportunities for people to explore faith. We work to introduce families to Jesus.

We want to be rooted in love, in the word and in the Spirit. We create spaces to practice the presence of God, dig deeper in the Bible and grow in confidence in Holy Spirit ministry.

 We celebrate our identity as God's Family. We make space for you to be yourself around others. We provide support to strengthen your identity in Christ. Regular activities take place that offer welcome and care across generations + cultures.

We want to create new opportunities for church and mission. We invest in training and equipping for leadership and ministry to enable this.
